SYNAESTHESIA
[noun]

People who report such experiences are known as synaesthetes. An example of synaesthesia is in one common type, known as grapheme → colour synaesthesia or colour-graphemic synaesthesia, letters or numbers are perceived as inherently coloured, while in ordinal linguistic personification, numbers, days of the week and months of the year evoke personalities.
